patterning emptiness...

...:::...when someone you love goes away, as wonderful as it can be, there is a growing emptiness that fills up all things...things start to become defined in opposition to a regularity.
that emptiness has mass. that emptiness can carve out sound...it can give an edge to forms...cutting a fillet or an angle through that nothingness to change a pitch or strike a beat. in this feeling of absence, i'm thinking about making a visual pattern that records the frequency of these heavy empty moments and about how to draw sound from that image...:::...

Yea, that Alka_Rex EP is a scorcher. The next 2 releases on that label are going to be HOT HOT HOT!

yea. i linked-up wolf and lamb a few monday's ago (see july 24 post)for their free downloads...some of that sound can be tricky to find otherwise so it's great that they are making it available. loving the release on thema, though...will keep an ear cocked for more coming on that label.
Everything ok, with someone leaving and all?
hector. that's sweet. thanks. absence is a good thing to learn in the context of an anticipated return. you know what i mean?
Gosh I may have to use that ...

in the reverse context.
Universe forming and the filling of emptiness (vacua), rather than emptiness filling the vastness
I do know what you mean. Sometimes anticipation can be an almost sweet pain.
Take Care girl
Nice tracklisting! I agree Alka Rex rocks, heard them being played in the club last weekend!
Anyways, maybe I can get your mind of of things such as filling emptiness by asking a question :) Being from the Netherlands, I'm just wondering how big minimal techno is in California / the USA. Around here it's getting pretty popular, a national newspaper even wrote a background story about this 'new' kind of techno that "got the girls back on the dancefloor".
