ok, so ... m. mayer's depeche mode remix was SO disappointing. why? because i love him, and he is the dark electro-ish dude on kompakt that SHOULD remix their songs. however ... this mix is fucking great, great, great. pet shop boys? michael mayer? yes, please. but you have to wonder what justus kohncke would have done ... nice blog!
pet shop boys take me back to being 16...driving snowy roads...cold: mid-winter. night coming on...but with a toe dipped in the watery present thanks to mr. mayer's twist.
